The Student Accountability in Community (SAC) program at Michigan State University forced students to pay for, attend, and "pass" brainwashing sessions if they make "sexist, homophobic, or racist remarks at a meeting" or else be kicked out of the University.

EAST LANSING, Mich., December 14, 2006It may be almost 2007, but it feels more like "1984" at Michigan State University. The university's Student Accountability in Community Seminar (SAC) forces students whose speech or behavior is deemed unacceptable to undergo ideological reeducation at their own expense. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) is challenging Michigan State to dismantle this unconstitutional program, which presents a profound threat to both freedom of speech and freedom of conscience.
[...]
According to the program's materials, SAC is an "early intervention" for students who use such "power-and-control tactics" as "male/white privilege" and "obfuscation," which the university cryptically defines as "any action of obscuring, concealing, or changing people's perceptions that result in your advantage and/or another's disadvantage." Students can be required to attend SAC if they demonstrate what a judicial administrator arbitrarily deems aggressive behavior, past examples of which have included slamming a door during an argument or playing a practical joke. Students can also be required to attend SAC for engaging in various types of constitutionally protected speech, including "insulting instructors" or "making sexist, homophobic, or racist remarks at a meeting." When participation in SAC is required, "non-compliance typically results in a hold being placed on the student's account," an action that leaves the student unable to register for classes and thus effectively expelled from the university. Students are required to pay the cost of the SAC sessions.

It's really gotten to that point guys. Once you make a "Politically incorrect" AKA non-"Cultural Marxist" statement you are forced into brainwashing programs. At a UNIVERSITY nonetheless. Seems like my prediction was correct, hello police state, hello USSR.

And don't get me started on the complete dominance of Jews on Soviet political Marxism and American cultural Marxism. There really is no hope anymore, even our Ivy League schools are completely run by Jews/Marxists.

Hello police state!

And why is FORCED BRAINWASHING not headline news? Why isn't America protesting this complete and utter bullshit? Why won't the Jew-run media report this horrendous attack on intellectual freedom?

Not that bad? I guarantee you they're pumping complete lies and propaganda into these students, how can you say it's "not that bad". This is America, not the Soviet Union. This should be nationwide news, this is an outrage.

America's full of "shoving ideology down your throat" attitudes. Though I'm sure I won't change your opinions.

It's funny that you attempt to justify brainwashing with marxist propaganda in an intellectual institution. Pretty sad that the USA has degraded into thought-control status and you don't even think it's a big deal.

Wait, so you're saying that it's equally bad in kindergarten anyway? Is that what you're saying?

Yeah I don't think that's free-thinking and I know there's a level of thought-control there. But that level is everywhere, in any society.

Oh no, big bad commies at the university are going to eat your head if you don't stop making racist, homophobic and sexist remarks. All hail the right to insult and the right to verbally humiliate.

...it seems weird that Kidd Rune is the only person really expressing any anger at this. Forcing people into indoctrination classes, then forcing them to pay for them? For using their voice? Isn't that supposed to be protected by the US Constitution? You guys worship that thing, except when it aligns with your opinions? Then what's the point of it?

I am not sure why you would be surprised. In spite of their claims to the contrary universities and other educational institutions are prime channels for social and political brainwashing. Not just regarding political correctness but everything in general. As you are, I believe, a university student, I would have thought you would have long been aware of this fact.

And no, no one would create an outcry about this since brainwashing is in fact the unofficial raison d'etre of educational institution. Only a naive individual would not have clued in to this fact.

I do agree however, that the reeducation system is eerily reminiscent of the reeducation camps so popular in Fascist and Communist countries.

I don't think it's extreme enough to be called indoctrination classes.

Though yes, i agree that it's restrictive, patronising and not "right".
